As a Mom

You may have noticed that I have a new item on the side here which states I am a member of "As a Mom". I joined right after I saw the woman who set up the site was interviewed on the Glenn Beck Show. She and two other women were on the show talking about the things they are doing to save America. Dunwreath (creator of site) made a very good point. Changing things start at home; they start with the family and what better than the female (mom) of the household? We are the ones who see first-hand what they government schools are teaching our children (or grandchildren) and what they are NOT teaching! We are the ones who go to buy groceries and figure out that it is now costing us at least 20% more for the same amount of groceries. We read the papers, the editorials, etc.

I am not saying that fathers or men in the family don't do these things at all. Just that, we as women, have a unique perspective and opportunity to hopefully make a difference and make changes in our community and then the county, the state and the federal government. We KNOW what we are talking about since we live it every day! The group that Dunwreath started is comprised of both women and men. Further, she has started sub-groups by state and within the state groups, there are regional groups. Yes, it is a busy site but within one week, over 40,000 people joined "As a Mom" (I don't know what the total is now - it simply went viral!). This shows you how concerned people are about our country!

I highly recommend you take a look at "As a Mom" - join and start making a difference with us.
